Adrenaline Motorsport are delighted to announce that the Murtaya has been accepted to run within the 2008 All Nippon Challenge and plans are underway to run a class for Murtaya race cars within the 2009 All Nippon Challenge.
The NIPPON CHALLENGE is a race series for production and modified Japanese cars. The series aims to provide an opportunity for newcomers to race their favourite model as economically as possible, whilst offering a platform for the tuning community to show their prowess in the competitive environment at double header meetings on some of the UK’s very best race circuits including Silverstone, Mallory Park, Rockingham, Pembrey, Cadwell Park, Snetterton and Brands Hatch.
The Murtaya uses a composite monocoque to house Subaru Impreza running gear
creating a hugely capable lightweight four wheel drive turbocharged sportscar.
Each Murtaya race car for the 2009 class will be factory prepared to a standard specification to ensure close competition with suspension settings, brake balance and tyres being the only things which the drivers can change.
Race spec Murtaya to run in the 2008 All Nippon Challenge
The specification has been designed to make for a very exciting drive and a spectacular car to watch. Sealed engines will be built to produce 400bhp being delivered to the ground through 6 speed gearboxes, with phenomenal braking through 6 pot front and 4 pot rear callipers. With a finished car weighing under 900kgs the performance will be explosive and the action captivating whether viewed from behind the wheel or the grandstand.
A limited run of 6 cars are available to purchase during 2008 ahead of the 2009 season and interested parties are encouraged to contact the factory for further details.
