New Toniq CB Range Launched
Posted by Madabout News on Friday, October 16th, 2009 at 12:15 AM

Following a year of intensive development Adrenaline Motorsport are delighted to announce the launch of the brand new Toniq CB range. Using a new state of the art round tube chassis utilising inboard pushrod actuated suspension, the new car has been painstakingly developed to not only offer stunning dynamic performance, but to also be an enjoyable and straightforward build project.

Designed primarily around the Ford Duratec and Kawasaki 1400cc power plants, the Toniq CB range is available in three formats:

Factory built and comprehensive or modular kits. The factory built and comprehensive kits use brand new components throughout while the modular approach allows the builder the opportunity to incorporate alternative drive train options and reduce the overall build cost by using reconditioned or second hand engines/gearboxes etc.

The CAD designed chassis is supplied with all mounting points and brackets pre-fitted, all panelling laser cut and pre-drilled for riveting, with the attention to detail going right through to the wiring loom which is supplied with all connections correctly terminated for simple attachment to the switchgear and components.

The styling is an evolution of the original Toniq R, continuing with the bold and contemporary interpretation of the seven concept – tweaked to take into consideration the new IVA regulations, new dimensions of the CB range, and to ease the build process.

The new demonstrator is the CB200 model, powered by the 2.0ltr Duratec engine supplied and mapped by power train partner OMEX. The smooth and powerful engine is backed up by a six speed gearbox and limited slip differential – both standard items on this specification. This car is available for test drives from the end of September and bookings are now being taken for people wishing to come and experience the thrilling dynamics and blistering pace that the new car provides.

The Caterham CSR and Superlight ranges have been used as the yardstick for performance – with the target being to offer class leading dynamics and quality, without the price tag!

With several cars already sold pre-launch, we have our targets squarely set on redefining dynamic performance benchmarks with this car. Ultra reliable high performance engines combine with state of the art chassis engineering and dramatic styling to provide a stunning overall package, which will make you smile in anticipation as you walk around the car and laugh out loud when behind the wheel.

The new car will be on our stand at the Top Gear MPH shows in November, and also at the traditional season ending Exeter Kit Car Show on November 21/22nd. Make sure you come and take a look – it is well worth taking some time to soak up all of the small detail touches which make this such a stand out package.

Toniq CB Comprehensive Kits from £18,495 including VAT

Special Offer For September & October

Any kits ordered during September and October 2009 (modular or comprehensive) will receive a free kit build insurance policy.

This policy will come into force on the day that the kit is collected or delivered and provides comprehensive cover to the valueof £15,000 against damage or theft for 12 months. Not only that, but it also provides cover for goods in transit – for example when taking a part completed build to be painted or to the rolling road. With many insurance companies being very reluctant to provide insurance cover on kits in build, this special offer provides real peace of mind against the significant investment sat in the garage!

The offer covers both the Murtaya and Toniq CB ranges and is valid for any orders placed with reservation deposits paid by the end of October 2009.

For further information on the Toniq CB range or their current offers please contact the company Adrenaline Motorsport and let them know you heard about them at Madabout-Kitcars.com
