Makeover for Adrenaline Murtaya demonstrator
Posted by Madabout News on Wednesday, February 21st, 2007 at 06:16 PM

They say that springtime is the time for a good clearout, a good clean and the time for a change.

Well, there’s been change aplenty at Adrenaline Motorsport since last year.

In anticipation of a crowded and hectic show and trackday season the mould breaking Adrenaline Murtaya demonstrator, the 4 wheel drive roadster based on the Subaru Impreza that received a 10 out of 10 rating in a respected magazine road test last month, has received a stunning makeover.

Now sheathed in iconic Subaru Blue, the new look car was unveiled recently and proudly presented by the Adrenaline Motorsport team to a select audience.

“It was time for a change,” said Neil Yates, MD of Adrenaline Motorsport, “We launched the car at Donington last year in silver and used the car hard all winter testing and developing. What with customer demos and magazine roadtests the car has had a hard life and while mechanically it has been faultless, the paintwork was showing some signs of road damage. Many people had said they thought it would look good in blue, and considering the car’s heritage we thought we would give the colour a go. We think it works!”

The refreshed Murtaya, described as an important car for the kit car industry as a whole is set to continue as Adrenaline’s demonstration and show car for the coming season, while the company concentrates on fulfilling its customer build obligations.

“We had originally hoped to have the track day lightweight version of the car in action by mid year,” added Neil, “and indeed may still achieve this, because this will be a very special car, but we have to look after our customer builds first and foremost. We have a cracking team at Adrenaline now, with chassis, mechanical and electrical specialists all employed at our factory. We are confident the cars we deliver during the spring will thrill, excite and delight their new owners.”
