Adrenaline Murtaya goes Carbon
Posted by Madabout News on Tuesday, June 5th, 2007 at 09:02 PM

Cornish manufacturer Adrenaline Motorsport has been commissioned to build a special carbon fibre version of its stunning Murtaya roadster.

The news comes in the wake of an excellent first Stoneliegh Show for the company.

“It’s always been our intention to build a carbon version of the Murtaya as we have laminators experienced in that field,” said company MD Neil Yates, “But one of our customers has pre empted us somewhat. This car will be going to Canada as a comprehensive kit and is scheduled to be built into a car for the Targa Newfoundland rally in September.”

However, this isn’t set to be a standard Murtaya with a few carbon “ad-ons” dotted about…

“Oh no,” chuckled Neil, “This will be the real deal. The entire tub and all panels will be carbon. With the Sti powerplant and drivetrain our customer is intending to use, along with some very juicy components such as carbon clutch and propshaft this will be a very light and very special Murtaya.”

The latest news compliments an order book that boasts customers from all over the world. Two cars sold in Switzerland, two into the US, Holland, Belgium and now Canada; in addition to the orders taken for the UK market; the reputation of the Cornish built car is spreading far and wide.

“We’ve been very pro active with our marketing right from the start,” concluded Neil, “We’ve always known the car is good, and now the experts are confirming that in their roadtests. The Murtaya message is really striking home. Long may it continue.”
