Great progress Tony. The convertible rear needs a bit of more time with panel alignment than the hardtop just give me a call if you need any more pointers.

seanick 23rd November 2012 21:51

Really can't figure what the pic is. Is it your house boiler??
Sorry, too much rum, and more photos have appeared!

I gave up Bacardi about 15 years ago after drinking 1.5 litres in one evenings foolishness!:puke:

tonyt 23rd November 2012 22:05

I have a glass or red wine in my hand, keeps me sane. As does the build.

seanick 23rd November 2012 22:08

Funnily enough, I was given a bottle of Bacardi oakheart! Its a bit sweet but itscheaper than heating the workshop! Prefer organs spiced, if anyines lustnin!

tonyt 23rd November 2012 22:14

Spiced organs? this is why I avoid spirits.

Looking great Tony - Have you chosen what colour to paint it.
If Chris had these before i started my build i would have definitley built a car like yours - probably with the aston style front.

If you haven't seen my Roadster thread next door in the Sammio forum it might be worth a look.

T' other side http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/...1-25133506.jpg

tonyt 25th November 2012 17:33

No rust found, covered in underseal anyway, black goo day http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/...1-25135602.jpg2

seanick 25th November 2012 19:51

Good progress. Nice flares!
Interesting you mention undersell. My rear arches are undersealed, apart from the outer 3" !!:plane:

Thats how it was from new. No wonder they rust on the arches! Not much to stop water getting past the flanges and spot welds. They may not all be the same mind!

tonyt 25th November 2012 20:02

2nd dry fit of the rear http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/...1-25204226.jpg

tonyt 25th November 2012 20:07

Seanick, don't think I could go any wider than its is http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/...1-25204730.jpg

Tribute Automotive 25th November 2012 21:04

Any ideas about exhaust/s yet Tony?

tonyt 25th November 2012 21:44

For now a 48mm curved stainlessteel extention pipe from ebay. Have to see what will fit under the kit or just get Longlife to design and fit a system.
