Electrics help please

3 Attachment(s)
Hi all
Ive got a problem wiring the rover 75 seats in the Z3. Some people have helped with pictures but I am struggling to get them to work properly. What I have is as follows:

BMW CHASSIS SIDE
There are two connectors under each seat (see pic). I understand that one is for the motors (white one) and the other is for the heating elements (Black one) the wires to each are as follows:-

White connector
Brown ( thick wire I assume is earth)
Red/white (thick wire)
Purple/black (thin wire)

Black connector
2 x brown wires
White/green
White/red

ROVER SEAT SIDE
One connector that has the following wires:-
Black
Yellow
Orange
Orange/white

If I connect the wires as follows the motors work and I think the heat is going through the elements but not controlled by my heated seat switch:-
SEAT SIDE. CHASIS SIDE
Black and yellow wires - brown wire
Orange. - red/white wire
Orange/white wire. - purple/black wire

These are all for the passenger seat and photos below
Thanks
Hugh

Hi
Ive fitted lots of these Rover seats to Z3's.
Call me and I'll talk you through it step by step.
The wiring is easy when you know how.
