Yep that is the one!

I wouldn´t recommend anyone buying it....it seems that the tracking is excessive and the wheels are in positive camber position. I bet that the suspension geometry is all wrong as a consequence of mixing parts (uprights, etc) toguether without any previous design in mind...let´s not mention bumpsteer!....

lot of potential problems for the buyer for sure...

By the way...where is their website now?...classic replicas or dinomotor company?...I don´t see it uploaded on internet anymore???

It´s all a big disgrace...

Hi
to be honest the car looks like a chaved up rehash of the old jhclassic's/deon.
I don't know what's going on with the wheels.
I know they took the deon chassis and cut out the back bone and removed the side impact sections/cills. What this did to the chassis strength is anyone's guess. And as you say just sticking new uprights/hubs etc on must have had an effect on the handling.
Steer clear!!

exactly. You´re right, the Deon is better than this. I´ve been talking to a guy who had all these problems. Spent so many money in trying to solve them: serious thing.
I don´t think it´s worthy to spend any money on cars made by these people. They simply are not qualified professionals.

I do agree, would anyone prefer a Dino on a street/highway approved shell like one listed on Ebay (in case anyone here came across)

... be a lot less hassles and certain to give its service in its lifetime !

Hi Guy's you would be right to stay away from this car I actually saw it in the CR workshop and the story was long and unreliable as were all the tales related to CR. This car is now advertised as in need of further attention. My belief if Gordon Aisby has worked on it it will never drive again. I have contacted the auction house to enlighten them as by selling the car knowing it is not what it seems would put them in a bad light. They have already Changed their description to protect themselves once. check this out.http://www.historics.co.uk/buying/au...ecreation.aspx

Compared to this

I have an email from Classic replicas saying that they have just ran the engine on the car they were selling me. When I was eventually forced to pick the car up or be charged storage the car had no fuel tanks, ecu, control cables or battery connected. so how id that happen. i was also told that the engine had been rebuilt so unless there was picture evidence and documentation to prove this I would take it with a pinch of salt. If you want a Dino Replica Go to speak with Dehavalland motors. They are good guys and your car will work unlike anything I have ever heard of that came from this place. As for Classic Replicas they since turned in to Dino Motor Company then disappeared. I am sure both Gordon & Classic will re appear when the heat dies down...

It has now been removed from Ebay. Either it has sold to some poor unsuspecting enthusiast or they have come to their senses and given it back.
