PG1 boxes with a diesel 5th

Ok this is mainly for the turbo guys. Not sure how this would all work with a standard K series. If someone can give me the gearbox code, I can run it through the calculator.

I'm going to be soon, be building a spare gearbox. With a diesel 5th. So thought I would post the figures. Better cruising on the motorway more than anything. Not for the 177MPH top speed figure!

Gearbox:- Standard Rover turbo k7
Tyre:- Michelin all patterns 195/50 x 15

Top Gear gives 24.257 MPH/1000 RPM and a top speed of 150.392 MPH at 6200 RPM

Engine speeds in top gear:-
30 MPH = 1237 RPM 40 MPH = 1649 RPM 50 MPH = 2061 RPM 60 MPH = 2474 RPM
70 MPH = 2886 RPM 80 MPH = 3298 RPM 90 MPH = 3710 RPM 100 MPH = 4123 RPM

Top Speed in 1 gear = 39.360 MPH
And changes into 2 gear at 3712 RPM dropping 2488 RPM
Top Speed in 2 gear = 65.743 MPH
And changes into 3 gear at 4329 RPM dropping 1871 RPM
Top Speed in 3 gear = 94.149 MPH
And changes into 4 gear at 4744 RPM dropping 1456 RPM
Top Speed in 4 gear = 123.048 MPH
And changes into 5 gear at 5073 RPM dropping 1127 RPM
Top Speed in 5 gear = 150.392 MPH
