Bad parking ends with ambulance trip

What should I do that is SAFE, LEGAL but makes this woman realise how inconvenient her parking is.

The person in the house behind felt bad, tried to get driven to the hospital but was blocked in by a lady driving this car. You can see the results 3 hours later.

VW Polo AG 58 FVD

Displaying a Southampton University parking permit, not valid where she was parked even if she wasn't blocking two dropped curbs.

So far just put the picture in her windscreen and emailed it to her employer asking for an explanation

All wheels have safety nuts so can't remove them and put them on her bonnet which was my first thought

I'm not advocating this for a moment, but when a chap KEPT doing the same thing to me (despite being very politely asked not to, as I'm a carer and need to get out at all times), I resorted to putting a rope round his tow eye and towing the car down the road, using my trusty (torquey!) Triumph Vitesse!

We are constantly plagued by university students parking in our road. It is quite narrow and they can't even understand that if they park opposite each other it blocks the road.
They have to be very bright to get into the university but they are certainly lacking in common sense.

Low tack masking tape so no damage but strangely satisfying

With two or three helpers you can easily push a small car even with the brake on and in gear. Just move it enough so its clear of the gates. Next trick is to jack it up onto a pile of bricks / blocks so the drive wheels are 1/2" off the floor. Then watch from your window !

I didn't know about it until the ambulance turned up or I would have removed the issue.

My car is down hill from the car so free rolling doesn't appeal

WCA - A bit late now, but for the future.

Official Action:
- I think you can report this to both the Police (but not via 999) and the local council.

Unofficial Action:
- Park neighbours' cars very close to either side of the offending car, so it can't be moved without the owner knocking on doors asking for help.

Either way, I hope the masking tape had the desired effect.

Cheers, Paul. :)

PS
Personally, I've always loved the approach of the Fire Department in America.

Parking in front of a fire hydrant is illegal, so they love fixing the problem like this.

Parking issues should nowadays be reported to the local authority parking enforcement officer or department.

Apart from writing to the uni and perhaps the dean/chancellor you shouldn't do anything else.

One of our neighbours had a similar problem and just put a note on saying something like "I'm not the best driver in the World, and I have a very large vehicle, and you aren't leaving much room for me to maneuver" - Parker was never seen there again.

And a toe rope.......

My dad was able to move a car by bouncing the suspension as it came off the ground you push it where you want. Four bounce two push. May get noisy if it has an alarm. But only works sideways.
