Don't forget Lucky Lemon .... ''A deposit on the table , makes a finished kit more able ....!! '' :-)

Hmm, "Lucky Lemon" , a Freudian slip if ever I saw one !

DAMN THAT SPELL CHECK !!

Sorry , no offence meant ....if you knew my humour , you'd understand ....to put it bluntly , I can be a knob sometimes ...

I have seen the 275 develop on my many visits. It really is an impressive looking body.

But I also know that Chris never intended to take it further than the one he was commissioned to make.

Now Dan has taken over but I think he will produce a spyder version. As the coupe models adds many challenges to the build.

Chris and Dan always have a full schedule, Lancelot and myself understand their workload and we tend to try to show the reality of the situation.

These bodies take many months and sometimes years from initial idea to final product.
There are only so many hours in a day and priority is given to paid work.

So paying a deposit or preferably in full is how to get your job allocated.

As we all know building one project consumes lots of our time.

Chris and Dan are juggling projects in double figures.

Most of their work passes through the workshop and out to the customer without a pic or a mention on here.

So hopefully, no ranting or name calling just the reality of the work that happens behind closed doors.

Hi can the front crash beam stay in place and still have enough clearance:question: This will depend on which kit I can purchase

Thanks Steve:decision:

Egdik 4th October 2016 11:52

We plan to keep both front & rear carriers / inner bumpers; they will be useful for some mounting points.

Yesterday I cleaned, etch primed and sprayed with black Gravi Gard, stone chip protector, the rear one.

Hi thanks for the reply, my car is a 1999 2.8 that was imported into NZ which means it has to meet the 2003 front crash regulations, according to our authority we can swap the panels lights and everything else apart from taking off the front crash beam. if it was NZ new I could take it off.

I'm not saying a word !

lancelot link 11th October 2016 08:11

lol Lucky ... I know that tomorrow is being devoted solely to getting a major step forward with the project and when one of the 3 people that's involved , feels like posting some pictures , it will certainly be enough of an update for anyone serious about this option , to be in a position to place an order ...

Enough for someone to put a deposit down? You'll be lucky :flypig:

Jaguartvr 11th October 2016 09:41

I think there will be a few deposits slapped down as soon as it's available. If I had a bit of spare cash I would have been one of them.

I will be that man soon as I've finished and sold my Triumph Roadster. Seats are back from the trimmers, body is ready for paint, I've got all the parts ready to go back on the car so getting close.
