Robin Hood and IVA

I've had two Robin Hoods in the past but both were bought completed and registered. One of them needed a VIC. I took it to a VOSA station and got chatting with one of the inspectors. He said "That's a Robin hood. We never pass them. Lotus, Westfield, Tiger all good kit cars but not Robin Hood". This was about 4 years ago. Does anyone have an opinion as to how good Robin Hoods are? I understand they were bought out a few years ago.

Some of the earlier Robin Hood models did suffer some adverse publicity.

I understand the company was sold to Great British Sportscars, who have completely re marketed the product and are producing some very fine turnkey cars and kits. If you buy one of their kits they will even arrange an IVA pre-test and IVA inspection

With the Mazda MX5 now able to be used as a donor I suspect they will sell a lot more kits in the future.
