MOT 5th year....
Hi Guys,
:-) just passed it's 5th MOT. Straight through again. Anyone got anything exciting going on during August? I was thinking about an Oulton Park Trackday end of the month? Rich |
Hi Rich.
That's great news! 5 years with no problems to report. Do you know what your handbrake results were? Got mine through the MOT eventually with the handbrake problem. With new calipers and a bit of pre binding;) got 18%.:( But should not have the same problem next year. Looking at a track day possibly the end on September. Car will be off the road for about a month now(sorting out the above). |
5 MOT tests? One before the SVA test, and one every year after?
Just trying to determine if time has passed me by quicker than I thought! Mine has had one MOT test, at 3 years post registration, that's it. No car antics for me this month, but hope to do a cheapy airfield day in late September / early October. |
Craig,
.....oops, you're right!!! 5 years old....4th MOT test. John, Don't know what the percentage hbrake was......but the MOT tester didn't even hesitate to pass it so must be OK. Rich |

Mines been on the road now for must be 4 years (time flys!) but only had 2 MOT's. |
John,
Unfortunately not.....when I got my tax renewal for the first year it stipulated MOT required...seems to vary a lot!! Rich |
I've not seen Craig about this place in months.......

Hi Guys
Long time since I've been on here. My car being one of the first and built by Which Kit? (now CKC) passed SVA in 2005 and has been through an MOT every year from 2006 on. Just passed again today so that's 6 MOT's in all. Is this a record for the forum? Off to Donington for a track day on Monday (22nd Aug). |
Hi Ken.
I think your one was the first outside of Marlin. Remember buying all the mags with your car getting built while I was building mine.:biggrin1: |
