FOR SALE MY MX250 spyder

Due to a house move I am very reluctantly selling my much loved mx250c

A well known car and has appeared on Tribute stand at stoneleigh.
I have an album full of pics and a folder full of receipts i suspect add up to over 8k.

For details look up "I thought it was finished "

Will put it on the net for £5750 but will sell for less to someone on this forum.
Please spread the word.
For a full spec list and more pics pm your email.

Far too much stuff to list on here.

Many thanks

Jason

Sad times

You were too tall for it anyway, you can always drive the other one.

That's why I fitted new leather seats and lowered them an inch .
Perfect now.

mazdarazmataz 13th September 2017 09:07

Its a bargain at that price I reckon

DaveP 13th September 2017 16:16

damn that's a bargain. I have seen the car in the flesh and it looks / sounds great !

Good luck Bruce ! (unsure whether I have the name right).

Have had many offers (via eBay) but not quite enough.
If not sold soon will keep it till next spring .

tonyt 23rd September 2017 18:12

True if you worked out the hourly rate for sanding and thinking its would be pence per hour for all our builds.

bought a tribute mx250 in spring of a gentleman, who possibly bought it from you ? since he got it from Andover.
My son and my favourite car.
Yours has all the changes I intended to make.

I see another one for sale.

That's the one I built with my son , we sold it a couple of weeks ago.
I was sad to see it up for sale again , I thought the guy buying it was going to keep it and enjoy it.

landmannnn 3rd October 2017 21:01

I thought it looked familiar.

Out of curiosity, where is the fuel filler on it?

The fuel filler on the black one is in the boot.
Shortened the rubber connecting hoses and re attached the filler.

Cheers for that. Trying to decide on mine. Think the Aston cap looks good which I might go for but if not that is a great idea.

mazdarazmataz 15th October 2017 16:21

I have to say, I'm kinda sad you have sold your cars drum....as we built at roughly the same time and swapped notes during the process. Did you get your asking price for your one?

Drummajor 16th October 2017 08:02

She's gone
Sold to a very nice gentleman, Remo from Germany.
I think he will look after at which is important to me.
Wife cried as he drove it away ( with a big smile on his face)
Don't worry , I will be back with another build when I'm settled into my new house .

Drummajor 11th April 2018 17:11

I haven’t heard anything about the car, I hope the new owner is enjoying it?
I already regret selling it and wife said if we know now what we now know we wouldn’t have sold it.
However, onwards and upwards , new build on the horizon.

mazdarazmataz 11th April 2018 18:33

I thought you might regret that one, especially going into summer. I don't think I have ever owned a car which has got as much attention as an mx250. I'm struggling to get my car through emmisions at the moment.

Drummajor 24th May 2019 10:41

Hi every one
The guy who bought my car is wishing to sell it as he is moving back to mainland Europe .
He gave me first refusal but I am more interested in building another.
However some one out there may want a freshly mot’ed ready to go mx250 for the summer?
There is a few issues that need addressing but is perfectly drivable and useable as she is.
It would be a shame to see her wasted
Also , I think it can be bought pretty cheap .

Drummajor 6th June 2019 06:42

My old car is on eBay , I’ve been to see it .
Would make a great summer car , make him an offer
Item number is:
