Design me a car

Having a misses , 2 kids and a dog I would like to have something a bit special to drive daily
Needs to have back seats and a boot
I was thinking of using an Alfa Romeo gt
Cheap doner, and rake of the windscreen looks good
Maybe a completely unique design not a replica of anything.but I was liking the Ferrari ff
But Iam no good at photoshop etc
Can anyone come up with any designs ?
This has potential to be made if the design works and do you think the market needs a design like this ?

nice cars - but I thought you had to generally include the proportions of the donor within the design?

That one you posted looks like this - the 612 GTO https://youtu.be/B-dZm0b5sMY

Does the market need a design like this

In a word yes lots of people are actually put off by the impracticality of the dream 2 seater purely because life doesn't fit in with it

Decent 4 seater has to be a winner ?

That's a good point.
I have been building kit cars since the 1980's. In that time there has been some good 4 seaters on offer but none were successful.

There was the Rickman Metisse

Chad super sport ss4

The Ginetta g26 g28 g30 g31 had reasonable following.
And the quantum coupe / saloon sold in good quantities

So while there maybe a market - is it small and fussy?

I thought of this thread yesterday, when one of these pulled up in traffic outside where I was sitting...

I couldn't help wondering if the panels unbolted like the Z3...

Then what could Tribute do with a fixed hard top roof to keep the rear seats useable...

But it drove off before my imagination could go any further.

Either way, it would be interested to see how this develops.

Good luck, Paul. :)

PS
"Tudor" hot rods kits are another family option.

I think that BMW would give a slightly better shape at the front than the alfa maybe - due to the front wheels being slightly further forward compared to the windscreen

Ive always thought that the Mazda RX8 would be a good base for this kind of conversion. Its a bit of an ugly duckling but fantastic to drive and they can be picked up very cheaply these days.

I am going down the same road, and currently 11 years in.

However from your first concept and from the classic market trends and don't laugh I'd be looking for a good classic.
Resto mod it, but keep all the original parts and don't do a mod you cannot unbolt.
Three examples from the sublime to the ridiculous.
