Hi
My name is Matt and I just found your site, I am doing some restoration and modifications on a 25 year and old " ferris buellers day off " car built my Modena back in the late 80s early 90s...I would like to get some input from you guys and can post some pictures as it progresses, I have done quite a few things so far and could post some pics to bring you guys current ,let me know if there is any interest and where is the best place on the forum to post the project Regards Matt |

It seems I can only load one picture at a time

That seems like a very nice looking car - but the pictures are way too small to be able to see any detail :(
|
Is it based on a Z3?
|
Won't be a z3 if it's built by Modena, the cars were built specifically for the movie as far as I know. Custom frame and very accurate. (rear lights might be a little off)
Here is another one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C59X31zQNz0 virtually identical to originals (also just goes to show what a good DNA has done especially with their dash) |
All finished

Finally finished the car

Why don't you post these photos on your other thread where you are asking for a better set of panels or moulds ?
|
I don't know I haven't ,would you like to talk to my therapist?????

Mattie69 - Nice job on the restoration Matt.

Either way, I think it makes the car look more subtle than the 'in your face' Ferrari Red. Enjoy, Paul. :) |

South Africa might be a bit too far away for you, but this guy does the kind of 'buck' work you are describing.

Thank you for the info
