That's a good idea, maybe the material could be used as the wheelarches themselves?

Good idea - does the resin release from it without wax or other mould release?

Jaguartvr 11th October 2016 08:06

The resin doesn't stick, it just peels away.

I cant wait to see this finished
Lovely shade of blue

Jaguartvr 12th October 2016 17:50

WOW, great finish straight from the gun.
I was going to carpet the inside of the boot lid and flow coat the rest, very little effort needed!

Do I spot an extended bonnet vent as well?

NICE WORK JEFFY BABY ...

Thats a great colour choice .... really looking forward to seeing this one finished ...as I'm sure you are too !!

Great colour and a beautiful finish.

Triumph Special 15th October 2016 19:27

Amazing. Pretty handy with a spraygun, then?!

DaveP 15th October 2016 23:03

Great job - what a color !

Jaguartvr 15th October 2016 23:11

Liquid glass. That takes a lot of prep and skill, as well as a lot of time.

That really is the dogs dangly's.I think i might leave mine in primer.

"It has come out ok"..................you @XX@!

The more I look at the pictures the more I hate you!

Simply stunning.

A set of brand new chrome wire wheels would look stunning against the dark blue. Any idea of the seat choice and is it going to be a standard or retro interior? I know Brian from DNA understandably won't sell his 2fifty dash's on their own but it would look superb in this car. Maybe some grovelling and pleading along with a wheelbarrow full of cash might tempt him!

Jeff - I was looking forward to seeing this in colour and it was well worth waiting for, what an amazing job.

I'm sure the customer will love it.

Good luck, Paul. :)

Mikewade 16th October 2016 09:25

You've Done a great job there. Very professional.
Lovely job!

Jaguartvr 16th October 2016 12:46

That interior against the dark blue would look fantastic.
I love the seats but don't think I could live with seats that didn't fully adjust.

I hope we can see some photos of the finished car. If your customer can fit the Borrani wheels , they will really finish it off. I'll be interested as to how he does manage to fit them as most of the wire wheel options I've seen stick out a long way from the arches.

Jaguartvr 17th October 2016 18:30

I think with the price of Borrani's you can specify the off set. It's just how the spokes are set up.

redratbike 17th October 2016 19:18

They look good in blue https://www.facebook.com/Automirage/...303291/?type=3
