How come Gaz doesn't get a printed Tee shirt? Andy's thanks for the bits for Skippy's rebuild, Pat

AndyP57 7th May 2014 08:25

He will do. It's just that he was out of country when we ordered them and we wouldn't want to get the size wrong

It's mine - one of the early ones, which I had Gary do the conversion for me on a previously restored Herald (by me) with failing bodywork but very sound chassis and mechanicals. It's still a work in progress (next will be a tonneau cover and a slight change to the interior to finish to make the dash to rear tidier, and possibly a boot area to make it slightly more practical although it gets out most dry weekends. Softer rear end and Spitfire springs up front made a huge improvement to the ride and handling, recommend this over the low and stiff look.

Agree about the softer springs and higher suspension, I've tried both setups and I can drive much faster with far more confidence, on the road at least, now I've softened and raised the suspension.

Would be nice to see a few more pictures...
