Yes, you are right. It looks like a toy Micro Machine.

Maybe something like this....

Yep that's more like it. The mini front had a more vertical angle than the swb, that's what i was looking at along with a more curvy grill. Funny how things can get lost in translation . Also with a 1275 gt clubman front it would look like an early ford mustang with a curvier behind. Not saying i want one but nice to be able to see if it works

A Wolseley hornet with a Mini Clubman front has also been done.

How would an swb look with California front wings and headlight area.

zagmad 10th November 2014 10:35

Hehe. I was thinking more smart car reshell. City car with character. :-)

zagmad 10th November 2014 10:52

Thing is "some say" that the best looking cars have an aggressive front end with a curvy pert rear. Bit like saying Ferrari 430 front with say the more sedate back end of the 599. But each to their own.

zagmad 10th November 2014 11:05

I think the f12 is a good example of this. Ferrari 250 gtc looks nice. V12.

You're thinking of women not cars

zagmad 10th November 2014 13:13

Physco killer looking women with cute behinds not my thing. :-) 250 Europa comes to mind has the hardtop with sloping back

Alpha, that picture of the Rover deserves a better posting, so lets have Chris build one of these!

Both Chaparral and Citroen DS are amongst my favourite cars but I've not heard of a Chaparral DS. Can you post a pic?

DSG4ME 11th November 2014 20:30

I,ve never seen a Chaparral DS but I have seen a couple of DS 911,s.

That doesn't look as bad as I expected - or is it one of your photoshops :icon_razz:

DSG4ME 11th November 2014 20:53

I built something like that once by welding two mini subframes together. It didn't have a body though.
