Bargain Circuit Trackdays for 2009
 

Hi All

As your resident track day junkie just wanted to let you all know about 2 bargain track days for 2009 that are at great circuits and not in the middle of winter.

Pembrey nr.Llanelli - Sunday 31st May £169 through Motorsport Events

A great circuit where the BTCC and F3 teams used to test before the budgets got too big, with the credit crunch perhaps they will go back there!! A bit of everything to test your driving skills and Honda curve on the back straight that really tests your bottle if you can keep your foot down and hold on.

Cadwell Park - Monday 6th July £99 YES £99 through Easy Track

Cadwell Park needs no introduction as a great circuit but at this bargain price it's well worth taking a day off work and booking a B&B as that's exactly what myself and Dave Bence (Onyx Firefox owner) are going to do.

If you feel the need to move onwards and upwards from airfields, these 2 should definitely be in your diary for 2009. See you there.

Hulavington 6th March will be my next outing for the Hood.

MSE are setting up a car control area away from the track for low speed car control which will add to the day I hope.

and to add to the joy I will have to take a day of work to attend....

I am ready for it, after the summer off building, work is sort of getting in the way just now....

I'll be doing a few donnington days as they seem to be good value too :)

Donnington is also on my list of circuits to drive this year, do you know who offers the best value for trackdays at the circuit?

For anyone in the SW considering an airfield day in the near future, I intend to go to Colerne on Saturday 28th March.

I booked direct with Donnington, it was £110 per day during November/December, £130 Jan / Feb and £145 for the rest of the year. Not bad considering it was run 'open pit' after the first hour
