If you look on the GTOengineering.com web page you will be able to see a newly built 250 sub, I wouldn't like to ask how much it was, but they might sell grilles etc to make the tribute model look more authentic

More out of curiosity than conviction I found out the cost of 275GTB headlight perspex and metal edge strips to be £1051.20.

Alfa spyder headlight cover duetto. Any good . Gtb is that the one with long nose or the one that looks like an swb but with a bigish boot. Gte?

Now we know how the front end is going to fit, in relation to the doors and windscreen, we were happy to properly position the rear end and widen the rear arches to cover the tyres

The lowered picture is only Photoshopped. The red Z3 the panels are currently on is not the car they will be finally fitted to. As these panels are the intermediate buck from which the final mould will be taken, for the Z3 kit, they will not be fitted to Geoff's base car. Geoff will be getting the first production kit. The buck panels will be fitted to this 2.8 which will be my daily driver:

250 swb base cars
 
Chris, I am really looking forward to seeing the finished article, will the kit fit on a z4 base as well, I think the top windscreen rail attachment would be a lot cleaner and the z4 coupe windows are the right shape, I like the idea of having a fully built self collared gel kit which is fully bolt on, all be it more expensive. It would make it much easier for most people

Not wishing to post me a jiffy bag full of glass shards, Geoff had kindly sent me a paper template of the Z3 coupe side windows that he has purchased. They will fit his car extremely well:

I am still weighing up the various options for side windows and may even have different set ups either side of the car for Donnington.

The rear section of a steel Z3 bonnet was cut off and bolted to the original hinges to test how my planned sill/front end split would work:

Oh YES!

I didnt expect it to look this good. Not doubting Chris's skills at all but i suppose due to the super accurate buck this looks utterly spot on.

If this is a kit in future, i want one.

Has anybody measured the "windscreen rail" on the Z3 and Z4? How close are they?

To be fair to you with the short time left and to give customers a good idea what to expect, why not primer it, fit non functional opaque side 'windows', bolt on some non-functional headlamps and chrome door handles, and sell, sell sell!!
If you're stuck getting it sprayed, if you can trailer it to Swansea on the way to the show I'll primer it for you.
It's looking great Chris, well done.

Looks really nice, perhaps if I'd seen this before I started on the XKSS, I'd be putting an order in!

Will make a huge difference with the nose lowered a bit as you say,
