Posting photos on here
 

I've tried to post photos on this forum but they only appear as links/ attachments.
How do you post photos so they can be viewed without going via a link ?

Are you attaching the photos to the post?

Or are they hosted on a separate photo website (e.g. Flicker)?

Although posting an attached image appears to be a bit of struggle compared to hosting elsewhere.
