I miss the car but not the rust, mine was blue with a black vinyl roof, cost me £600 back in 1981 when I was 17 and I had a loan from the bank and had to see the bank manager to get it, dad had to come with me to act as a guarantor- oh how times have changed

I bought mine in 1982 and it was £800. Needed a loan too and the insurance 3rd party F and F was half the price of the car :(
