Newbie - BMW R1100 engines

Hi all,

Just joined up and need some advice please. I have built a Lomax trike but, due to an alarming increase in my tinnitus, I need a new toy that is fully enclosed/has a windscreen. I am going to sell my motorbikes and Lomax to fund a new build. BUT, I would like to use my BMW R1100GS as the basis for the build (emotional attachment to a chunk of iron - sad ain't I!!)

Does anyone know of a kit that utilises the BMW boxer engine (I like boxers hence the Beemer, wife's Porsche, and the Lomax)

Before anyone says, I sold the full windscreen/hood kit I had years ago as I decided to just have one fly screen.

All help/advice/abuse welcomed.

Thanks

Ron

You could fit the engine into a 2cv. Sparrow engineering suppy a kit to fit your engine. The videos on the sparrow site show how well the new engine works in the 2cv as long as you lower it and change the castor angle on the front arms.
