Fitting the metalsitic bushes into the suspension arms

Hi Guys

I am struggeling to press the metalsitic bushes into the front wishbones. I have tried all the usual tricks - washing-up liquid etc but they are proving VERY difficult to do. The problem is that they require a huge amount of force (squeezing in vice) to get them in and then - when they finally go they seem not to be in square.

Any suggestions anyone :eusa_pray:

Always difficult getting bushes in place even when you buy specific tools for the job.

In the end I found it a lot easier to go to a local garage that had a press and get them to do it. They only charged about a tenner to get the old ones out and put the new ones in - well worth it.

Cheers, John
