Yup, Paul, you are correct. And, there are a changes coming-up for Oxford1360. Once they are sorted I should have a good-sized garage close to the house from ~October. Progress should be much swifter from then on......

Gary, apologies for my lack of clarity. If you could let me have a price for two of the humps that you have supplied for the passenger above.

Thank you.

Thank you ...it has Landrover type slam latches and a modified Landrover dovetail catch ...I have reduced the latch area to minimize rattle .

Oxford , if you wanted 2 humps supplied separately with the same excess around them as the loose one in the picture , giving you plenty of material to 'graft' ...a 6 oz. layup and finished in grey gelcoat ......then we would be looking at £140 the pair including well wrapped postage via parcelforce.

Interesting idea any photos?
I tried a similar arrangement on the G-46 with-out success. The doors never felt "firm" and would open with the body flexing. I ended up using a pair of small bear-catches from CAR BUILDER SOLUTIONS.
They were cheap and worked well. :icon_idea:

I can take some pics when young Mr. Jeff has finished painting it as latches are off at present .....they are pretty firm ...the doors don't flex much , the new uber hinges have tightened it up ......

Bear claws are really good , and you can get those door drop latch things too , to locate a door and hold it ...the ones convertible cars and lorries tend to use on the rear bodies where doors flex... this sort of thing ....

They are about £5 or 6 each from memory ...

V5c Document back from DVLA a few days ago ...all present and correct . Triumph Formosa Sports in red ..no inspection required , so Happy Days !

lancelot link 27th August 2017 20:46

Jeff sent me some pictures today ...I know Graham has seen the full set , so thought I would put a couple on here ...

The car has been sprayed in Polyester reface ...this will be sanded back and then the car will be treated to some 2 pack high build primer and sanded again ...

Jeff also masked the whole of the underneath of the car , engine bay , floors etc...so no overspray should make its way onto the restored chassis ...

Car looks good.

Although one of the photos may have accidentally broken the forums nudity rules!

I'm sure all the prep work Jeff does will result in a great finish.

Good luck, Paul. :)

Morning Jeff excellent work again , Geoff .

Another great finish, if you want your car to have a high resale value then you need to spend big on the paint.

It would be nice to get a ball park estimate for having a GR120 and a 250 swb painted by Jeff.
It will give prospective builders an idea on what to expect for a top finish.

I was thinking the same, earlier today.
