Ferrari museum visit yesterday 250 swb

Here in Italy on holiday visited the Ferrari museum at Maranello they had a silver 250 Swb on show that I could get up close to. I took a shed load of pictures on my camera and will put them on line when get back to UK. I took a ruler to get approximate dimensions and positions also.

Sounds like a proper holiday. Hope you enjoyed the museum, I was surprised how small it was, with few cars. If you have time travel 200km or so to Milan and visit the Alfa Romeo museum. It's incredible.

Thanks we did enjoy Italy, very nice and will go back. The Museum was tiny but I was only interested in one thing, so it was fine for me!

Am back in UK now so will have to go to Alfa one next time.

Thanks!

Hi Gaz, Hows your build coming on we haven't seen any pic's recently? Did you get your wheel choice sorted?

Cheers.

+1 - be really interested in wheel choice too. Struggling to work out size to go for and offset required to sit it down

Hi Smash if it helps Iv'e been down the wheel road, see http://www.madabout-kitcars.com/foru...ead.php?t=5540

Think I have too big a tyre and will have to come down to a 60 from 65 but still hopeful it will fit and work......:pray2:

Sadly I have made little to no progress on the car other that fitting coilover suspension due to work and family commitments. I do have a free day tomorrow though so I'm hopeful that I can get a bit done then.

The wheels will be 15ins steels for now although I may change this once the car is on the road if I find some others that I prefer.
