Bought as an accident damaged , so the V5c might have been surrendered by the Insurance company and will need inspecting after repair to get it re-issued ...

I thought they changed the rules and the old cat c cars are not subject to a test now. (was the VIC test)

You are probably right Frogster ...the catagories have all changed , no C and D now either , all called something else ...so not sure what the current system is ....it's not too much of an issue , you will be able to retrieve the V5 .. but it's a bit of extra aggro ..

S & N (not S&M)
S= Structural N=Non Structural You used to have to have cat C VOSA checked to make sure it wasn't a ringer, this was discontinued a year or so back so you don't need to have the car checked before going back on the road. For the TVR, if it hasn't got a V5 you just need to fill out the form saying you didn't receive it from the previous owner stating cat C or D and a cheque for £25.......Simples, so long as you know the registration number. Just noticed that it seems to have an old tax disc in the window which will give you the reg number. |
someones bought it ..listing has been ended ...
