Hi all don’t know if may people saw this White Lamborgini Countach Replica,up for auction.Was listed between £44 -£50k apparently sold yesterday for £71k..... bonkers

My concern would be (as always with kits) ... what is the make/model on the registration document?

A quick check on the government website shows it to be correct ! Takes 10 seconds and is free to check .

I should have done that, but came to the conclusion that as it was a 'cherished plate' it wouldn't show up. :frusty:

I was looking with interest, and contemplated going to the auction but going for £71.0000 is just bonkers, and glad I didn’t waste my time as imho was way over priced. But each to their own and it’s what someone is willing to pay I guess.

Whist its not my cup of tea I didn't think the price was unreasonable. The build quality looked exceptional in just about every respect. Hand built exotics tend to fetch big money ! If you're thinking that its just a "kit car" that is missing the point . If I had similar money to buy a mid engined performance car I'd probably buy an Audi R8 but that's down to taste and never being a Lambo enthusiast !
