Pre-Production MX250 kit on eBay

I had a request today for fitting panels and a cage for an MX250 kit, an odd request I thought, so I asked why they only required those parts, this was the answer:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ferrari-25...item4d27a1d712

For everyone's information these are pre-production panels, the rear will fit the MX5 OK but the front is as the original Datsun 240Z kit and is too long for the MX5, so will require modification. The boot and bonnet are also single thickness GRP, all early production ones were double skinned but now have core matt in them to hold their shape.

Here's a link back to the original tread with pictures of this very kit:

If you don't mind doing the mods then it's a great price,

Prices for the additional parts required, available from us:

Cage £275
Rear window £40
Front and rear fitting panels £190
Bonding agents, bolts and rivets £60
Total £565

If anyone is considering buying and needs any advice please give me a call on 07901 544241.

Glad to see postage can be arranged. I'd like to see my postie try to get it through the letterbox. I'm sure she'd try, especially if it had the words 'FRAGILE! DO NOT BEND' written in bold type all over it.

I am incredibly tempted! Looks like a lot of work compared to your current production kits though,

Will definitely call you tomorrow Chris if it's still on eBay!

That should be about the £200 mark. Good advice about Anyvan.com, give it a try.
