Ferrari Sharknose

Hi,

Don't know if the last attempt to post worked so trying again!

I have been collecting details and information about the ferrari 156 sharknose f1 car for several years, and I have enough information to start designing a replica of it. I hope to have drawings for the chassis finished soon and I am looking for someone in the UK to build it for me. I am handy with a welder, but I would rather a professional build it. I studied engineering at university, so I am confident on the calculations used in the chassis design.

Also, as the engine used was a V6 120 degree (there was a 65 degree, but I prefer the look of the 120 version), I am trying to source a V6 engine. Most manufacturers use 60 degree, does anyone out there know of a 120 degree engine apart from the Dino V6 that ferrari made? If all else fails I will have to put a straight 4 instead. The back end of skoda rapid is pretty much the right size (only 90mm out) so this is the last resort option.

Regards,

J

The Rover 827 or Honda Legend engines had the blocks cast at 90 degree but the cranks were offset ground so all the combustion chamber activity was 120 degrees apart.
