250SWB 3.2M almost finalised

Ok, to show others what you can achieve, I herewith post some of the pics on our build.

It is going to be my personal car and demonstator for our company (we are the importer for Benelux for the Tribute kits) so we used the best possible donor, an M-roadster!

Our ultimate goal is to re-register the car as an Erjee, my own brand.
Hence you will not find badges like on my other builds.
We have designed our own logos but they are not finished and on the car yet.

We disliked the idea of the small bonnet, since it is of no use and thus had it secured and flattened out as a 1 piece.

We have had made up 17 inch wirewheels with hubs (all costly) and wanted good fitting tyres on it, not the truck tyres that some use, because I am going to drive it like when it was a Z3M, FAST and with good roadholding.

We used an aftermarket lowering set with stiffer springs and shocks, but did not want to lower it too much.

It will be fitted with Chris his new dash- when he makes it in a LHD version.
Due to my length (1,95M) we fitted leather bucketseats, removed the bulges behind the seats and had the rear compartment, under the rear windscreen covered in black capitonated leather to period standards.
We fitted a 15 inch Mountney wheel and mated it to a removable boss.

The headlining is made from Original carmaterial, finished in black.

We used a set of ANSA endtips and welded up our own exhaust using small Simson silencers.

Result is a nice growl but not too loud.

Being my demonstrator we had it painted gloss black (the most difficult colour on a polyester body) and it came out very nice!

This car is going to replace our other demonstator, a quickly with a can sprayed mattblack 2.8 as you can see in 1 of the pics, and our next build is already in progress being a SWB convertible.
We just finished off 2 Kobra kits as well.

i don't understand, but it seems you know a way to work it out... ;-)

WorldClassAccident 27th July 2015 10:24

You are pasting the link to the page with the picture on it, not to the picture itself.

Which internet browser are you using?

In Firefox you get the option to copy the LINK location or the IMAGE location. Choose Image location
