Correct. Twist it off. For removing the metal tab, use a fine wire and a sawing motion. I've even done it with dental floss. Go slowly.

I use a brand of release wax called "Honey Wax"...

I use a brand of release wax called "Honey Wax" and green PVA over that for difficult parts. Allow to cure for 48 hours and 100% success.
