I assumed us private builders would be ok as we are not profiteering from the build. Having said this mine will not be badges as a Ferrari as Iím driving to Italy in it in June

I think Ericholme put BMW alloys on his instead of wires and they did look good. Much easier to maintain too. Iím putting powder coated wires on mine for a mix of easy to clean and good looks.

Oh wow thatís quite an undertaking. I do worry that this plate that is bonded and bolted to the opening bar comes lose as it will be nigh on impossible to get to it again.
