Z3 Side glass

Hi Geoff,
Thanks for the offer of the Z3 Coupe glass but close inspection of photos shows that the it has a top edge which rises to the rear and it would not fit under my 275 roof line. It made me...

wire wheels

Hi Geoff,
I would love to fit wire wheels on the 275GTB/Z3 that I am working on but I have no idea about adapter plates. Did you have something in mind already?

Ferrari / Tribute badging

Geoff, if you want to go that way, you can get "F" or prancing horse badges for wheel hubs or body from many sources on Ebay (all of them illegal Chinese copies?). Alternatively, Chris and Dan, could...

Door handle and door skin

Take a look at my thread on F275gtb/z3 for an alternative solution. The reverse curve at the top of the door made it impossible to lay the 275 panel on top so I have removed the door skin completely...

Door handles

For those interested in historical accuracy, I got this genuine 275GTB handle from "new old stock" via ebay, sadly, they only had one. Note the Ferrari had a separate key mounted on the driver's door...

Wide body?

Wikipedia says "Width 1996-98: 66.6 in (1,692 mm) 1999-2002: 68.5 in (1,740 mm)" but no figures for the track. My handbook is dated (c) 1999 so perhaps it does not have data for the older (narrow...

From the Owner's Handbook: Front/rear track:...

From the Owner's Handbook:
Front/rear track: 1.8 = 1411/1492; 2.0,2.8 = 1413,1494 and all are given the same width of 1740.
The 1.8 engine size gives a range of about 7 tyre widths on 15", 16" or...

I think Chris has already replied to this question but, just to save his time, it is not a roll cage as is required for racing but just stiffening for the roof panel. The Z3 already has rollover...

I agree with your plans for the fuel filler, Chris, I will be re-using the standard fuel flap on my 275GTB re-creation (re-profiled to match the contour) as the alternative is so expensive but if...

Agreed. People did that conversion because it was easy and the result was more valuable than the one they started with. My own preference is for the Ferrari 275GTB shape but the Z3 conversion is...
