I added some rubber around it, it seems to stay in place without needing additional mounting. No movement after a spirited drive - I might add a bit of velcro later.

The front wing stays rusted and broke again, did a temporary fix a few months ago, but finally it’s time to make some new ones which will hopefully be more resilient to the elements.

On my E30 based sportster I didn't use a spring...
On my E30 based sportster I didn't use a spring at the pedal end. I held the cable in to the notch on the pedal using a stainless pipe clamp with a notch for the cable pass by.

looks awesome, I was using a 3.0 Z3 stick in the sportster but I switched to the 2.5 Z3 one. A bit higher but it's made gear changes a lot better.

This was due to two cold starts in a row, it struggled a little to fire so the engine just pumped the extra fuel out. It’s nothing to worry about as these were not normal stating conditions.
