Sammio spyder front suspension set_up

When I build a SAMMIO I like to keep the cost down so the normal practice regarding the front suspension is to use standard Triumph shocks and a standard road springs with one full coil cut-out....

TRIUMPH TWIN SU's Carburettors + manifold

As the title say I want a pair of twin SU's carburettors and manifold from a Triumph.
A pair of 1.1/2" from a Triumph Spitfire 1500cc would be ideal but 1.1/4" from a 1300cc would get the engine...

We finally got some spare time to work on the...

We finally got some spare time to work on the "D" type so we sorted out the wheels.
Not quite the original Dunlop Magnesium specials but a set of TR6 wheels and a few quid's worth of bits-and-bobs...

The problem turned out to be the balance shaft gears were stripped.
