I've never had an issue with overheating - I don't recall the temp ever getting...

As Robin has already stated, the sportster fuel tank is very basic. There is no pick up tube - just an outlet but welded on to the bottom, and a return slightly higher up the wall of the tank.

Those weights sound ok. It's the 'design weight' and becomes the technically legal max weight. It's what I used for Vikki, and she only weighs about 890kg.

I completely dismantled her bodywork and took it up there. Whilst I was there they where repainting a Williams F1 car, and an old Porsche Le Mans car......

No worries. I've never seen an outboard cat before... Hence my post. :)

That guy with the R500 looks to have swapped his cat after the test for something a bit more bling, and no cover on that! :D

I'm not sure what the IVA man will say about the outboard cats... You may have to put a guard on them, as they're bound to get hot - hotter than the muffler boxes.

I couldn't find anything...
