I had a similar thing with my phone. I cracked the screen. O2's two suggestions were 1) upgrade (£300), or 2) buy a secondhand one on eBay, "but it will probably be stolen," their words, not mine....

I've done that with the wheels chocked, and thought the brakes had seized on, but never on jacks.
