Panels and parts going back on the car now. Best part of the build is the final reassembly, it all comes together really quickly and looks finished for the first time !

The paint is a couple of shades lighter than I thought it was going to be but it looks very period and similar to sports cars in the 60's.

Should be on the road in a week or so !

I can see why body shops charge so much for paint ! Another day spent prepping, sanding and a bit more filler ! To be fair the panels are pretty good but the more prep you do the more you find to do...

Big alloys look just right on these as on Barber's car. I've fitted 8"-17" deep dish alloys with 235 /50 - 17 tyres but you could go another 2" wider on the back and 265 / 40's perhaps.

You could easily modify one of those cheap oil coolers on ebay and fit it with a proper cooling fan. Just been looking at several options on ebay. Would be a cheap and easy way for some warm air.

Hmm, doesn't look much better than the other wonder paints on the market. They never simply paint a flat surface to show you how reflective it is do they ! Most of these paints don't work in wet...
