Brilliant. For your door glasses, why not look at lifting glass with a leather strap as in old railway carriages? With a final hook to hold it fully closed.

Methinks 10.5 is a bit wide for your rims which look like 6.5-7.5 .
It would look monster with those on though. It might roll around on the narrow rims.

I love this 'my pickup was going to fail an MOT so I'm building a new one'! Lovely. It is a bit mean to suggest it might have been quicker to repair the existing one. But not as much fun!
