You have the later handbrake cover on there, shared with the Dolomite. You need a handbrake cover from a Toledo or 1300 FWD - the security lock will clear then.

It looks sooo much better for having the back raised. :) Have you ever considered 14" steels on it? I've used 5.5Jx14" MGF (spare) steels on my Triumphs: they locate well on the 3/8ths studs.

Triumph Dolomites and Toledos had a neat and unobtrusive rubber gator beneath the trim/carpet one. They cost pence from Rimmers and would suit your application well.

Does the Tetrosyl dry hard, so that you can paint over it? I've used something similar in the past that gave a great finish, but remained slightly tacky. Thanks.
