I lowered the rad on mine to get it under the bonnet and fitted an electric fan instead of the mechanical one that couldn't stay as it became the highest point!

Wasn't that difficult...

Today's big news is that, after only a week, the DVLA have sent me a spanking new V5 for my now road legal SAMMIO CORDITE!

Insurance the only thing stopping me getting on the road (not for long) ...

Hi Paul, wheels are standard 15" but have a 185/65/R15 tyre as opposed to the usual 45 or 55 that you'd get on a modern car. Fills the arch better and looks more suited to the age I reckon.

Not done it yet but I am planning to use the Spitfire catch (same i think) on my Cordite. Will be a challenge as I will have to build on the fibre glass bulkhead. Different on the Spider of course.

Starter solenoid definitely needs an earth, I earthed the coil as well for completeness sake, not sure it was required but I figured it was earthed when it was attached to metal so why not! Mine goes!
