Found this about the CAT and the MOT.

Also have on my log book, the emissions as 3.5% CO. So looks like a non CAT test for MOT.
Just wondering how a modern engine like the VAG will do without the cat. Should pass no problem (maybe not at the minute!) with 3.5%.
