Oil Level Sensor
Guys,
Oil level sensor - Do you need to connect this up? I ask as I believe this is just used to illuminate a light on the Beemer overhead check panel... That and the fact that when I removed mine from the sump I noticed that one of the mounting flanges has sheared off at some point (it was so covered in cack and oil you couldn't tell until you lifted it out and you had two seperate pieces in your hand!)
If you don't need it, I'll just knock up an alu cover to bolt over the hole in the sump. If I do need one, I'll just have to get another.
