Hi Mike
I'm assuming the 'backbone' you get out of the MX isn't enough to class as a chassis, so using the point system:
• chassis or body shell (body and chassis as one unit - monocoque ie direct replacement from the manufacturer) (original or new) = 5 points
• suspension = 2 points
• axles = 2 points
• transmission = 2 points
• steering assembly = 2 points
• engine = 1 point

(and that you must score 8 or more points to not require an IVA)

If the above is correct, than shouldn't this be enough not to need the IVA test as using all the above components will score 9 points.
What's your opinion on this. Could be a fantastic additional option to the current range and very cost effective when you take into consideration what car you will end up with. If that is not enough, look at all the upgrade options that are available for the MX engine range.
