I think MrTowed's comment about my car are mostly right regarding the windscreen size and shapet bu it's position is more of the problem for authentic looks I think.
The comparison picture below shows the three main problem areas labelled A, B & C. Cutting the screen off would only address the point C, the hieght.
The distance between the back of the front wheel and the front of the door opening (A) compared to the length of the door opening (B) are almost reversed on the BMW and the Maserati.
I guess you could cut the screen off, extend the bonnet backwards, bond the doors shut and cut new smaller ones etc but it does get away from the idea of a quick and simple car modification and you lose the practicality. Remember I am using this car as oine of my daily drivers.
