So now the persuit for power begins...

I have been looking for a header that would suit my Engine. I have found zero. Most are 4-2-1 headers, and that is not the way. I am very specific about what i want, because a lot of Power is hidden here. ALOT. So the natural way as usual is to do it your self. This header i made is calculated upon my Engine spec. Cams, cylinder head, rpm range, usage etc. So this is what i ended up with. Primary lengths and diameters are calculated, and also the collector which has a venturi to help midrange a tiny bit (high rpm range is favorised).



Startpoint for a collector, the "nose" helps the pulses to retain energy a bit.





First section of collector is finished



All the primarys are MIG spotwelded on the car, spots are then grinded down, made ready for TIG welding



Here is the finished header. All welding is done, and also the collector is finished.



Hmm... I wonder what comes out here...



Put on the car, it is not much space left... Pardon the messy engine, it will be pulled out as there will be some work on that one too



Very tight here...



So now for the rest of the exhaust... '
