Not trying to stir anything up after another thread got shut down due to some silliness, I'm (hopefully) making a serious suggestion here regarding the (very slight imho) issue of the hairline crack where the roof joins the screen on the 250 Coupe.
I'm not that familiar with the top of the screen surround on a Z3 or how the Coupe roof is fixed in place (bonded?), but would it be possible to drill a hole down through the corner of the roof into the screen surround and lock it into place with a countersunk stainless self-tapper?
The join and the hole could then be filled using fibre reinforced filler before prep and paint. Could that stop the crack forming? Just a thought.
