I connected it to some clear petrol pipe with a push fitting. I the drilled the top bend and epoxyed a rivnut to it which allowed me to attach the pipe to it, I simply used a small cable tie to hold it on. This is on the Z3 but I would expect a very similar setup on the MX5.
