Mark of Marlin tells me that so long as the steering lock (OEM) works OK when you remove the key then this is OK for SVA.
If anyone thinks differently then I'd like to know now as I'm off to SVA in a couple of weeks!
Clearly an anti-theft immobiliser etc is recommended.
